Modeled and base textured last month for Blizzard DotA which premiered this weeked @ Blizzcon! Trevor was responsible for creating the Abomination model from Warcraft 3 based off a Samwise concept.Trevor's Blizzard DotA concept updated the design and creating this artwork in the Starcraft 2 engine was a blast. The technical capabilities of the SC2 engine allowed us to realize the character better than ever before.
The Abomination itself was scrath-built while many of the componenets were reused from previous models. the Terran Marine armor was repurposed from the Murloc Marine and retextured to look more distressed. The Zerg version also barrowed a Ultralisk head and claw, as well as the preexisting Hydralisk skull.
